About the project
My EdTek Partner is a dedicated exam preparation platform for IELTS, PTE, OET, and TOEFL aspirants. The app delivers structured courses, video lessons, timed mock tests, and AI-powered writing and speaking assessments — all calibrated to official exam standards. Students receive a personalised learning path based on diagnostic test results, with clear progress tracking across all four exam skills: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
The Challenge
Exam preparation apps in the IELTS and PTE space are either too generic — flashcard-based or content dumps — or too passive, offering practice without meaningful feedback. Students need a coach-like experience that identifies individual weaknesses, provides immediate actionable feedback on practice responses, and builds genuine exam readiness. The challenge was to make that level of personalisation scalable across thousands of concurrent learners.
Our Solution
We built a skill-based progression system beginning with a diagnostic assessment that benchmarks each student's current level per skill. An AI scoring engine provides instant feedback on writing and speaking submissions against official exam rubrics, highlighting specific improvement areas. Course content is structured as bite-sized modules with integrated timed mock tests, and a spaced repetition engine resurfaces weak areas at optimal intervals to accelerate long-term retention.
